Shannon Shelton Miller has been a writer, journalist and editor for nearly 30 years, publishing articles in the New York Times, Washington Post, O, The Oprah Magazine, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and other national newspapers, magazines and websites. She's also written content for multiple financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Lending Tree, Synchrony Bank, American Century and Experian.
